Located on the banks of the River Thames, opposite St Paul's Cathedral, Tate Modern is a temple of contemporary art and a must-visit for art lovers. It houses works by Picasso, Cézanne, Andy Warhol and many others.
Unlike other museums, Tate Modern does not present its exhibits in chronological order. Instead, they are divided into history, portraits, landscapes and still life. When exhibits of the same subject matter but from different eras surround people, it is easy to see the stylistic changes between eras, and it is relatively easy to guide artistic preferences.
Tate Modern offers a wonderfully vibrant artistic atmosphere. Instead of the discreet atmosphere of a museum, everything here is free and beautiful.
There will never be another Tate Modern, the colours of which are too free-flowing. It is a museum that is hard to replicate and one that art lovers will go back to again and again.
