Ryoji Ikeda's Digital Universe

Japanese sound and visual artist Ryoji Ikeda presents the most extensive collection of his work in Europe to date at 180 Studios, London. The exhibition creates an 'immersive sound and visual environment'. Each piece attempts to show the artist constructing his ideas through mathematical language, presenting abounded and infinite image of the universe in time and space.

The entire exhibition features 12 art installations that focus on exploring sound and light, drawing the viewer into the dynamic digital world he constructs.

The video section is a unique way of transforming the easily overlooked details of everyday life into an artistic expression of sound or image.

The projection of the enormous screen makes you feel the smallness of life.

Subverting tradition, art can be multidimensional.
